Well spotted and well taken. Those two things tend to lead to rewarding images, as here. Cobwebs are, almost, a cliché in photography, but that's because they are almost endlessly fascinating. The stark, grey background, with its abstracted cross, sets the cobweb both off and into context. The only changes I would even suggest would be a very slight increase in contrast and a slight darkening of the overall image. But that would be fiddling for the sake of little reward. This is a image both striking and calming. I could see it being used as the basis of a series of tinted versions. A wonderful image and one that repays reviews.
