This is a breathtakingly good photograph. Just about everything about it is damn near perfect. The composition is exemplary, and the exposure is spot on, as is the balance between foreground/background/sky. The subtle use of the rule-of-thirds and the delightfully captured mist raise this picture to the highest level.
Usually I prefer photographs of nature, particularly when involving flowers, to be in colour, but it is obvious that this picture would not benefit from a riot of tints and shades.
It's difficult to think of any way that this photograph could be improved, and certainly nothing major should be altered.
Maybe, and it's very much a maybe, a slight tint, rich brown or maybe red perhaps, applied to the entire picture might heighten the atmosphere, but as this photo already has atmosphere by the bucket-load, probably not necessary.
